Our Growing Practices
At Sproutside the Box, our Lil Greens Gone Wild may be tiny—but our standards are huge.
We grow all our greens using a clean, hydroponic system—meaning no soil, no chemicals, and no guesswork. Just pure, nutrient-dense goodness from seed to harvest.
Our hydroponic method uses Sunshine #4 growing medium, and we water from the bottom up to avoid contamination and promote healthy, uniform growth. This approach not only conserves water but also eliminates the need for synthetic sprays, pesticides, or herbicides.
We use non-GMO seeds, filtered water, and food-safe trays to ensure every tray is grown with integrity. Our process is rooted in transparency, freshness, and clean growing you can taste—and trust.
Because we grow in small batches, every tray is carefully monitored by hand with attention to cleanliness, lighting, and optimal harvest timing. The result? Microgreens that are bursting with flavor, vibrant color, and powerful nutrients—delivered fresh to your door.
